DCDC vector scan module equipped with a 2D MEMS mirror, laser diode drive, high voltage amplifier and controlled IC to display input pattern with ILDA (International Laser Display Association) format. This module could provide focus-free projection within a compact size and reasonable cost. Vector scan has various applications such as festival decoration, high brightness mark or sign, and portable projector with interface of remote controller, such as blue tooth.
The MEMS mirror location and color information are both decided by 2D coordinates from input ILDA file to form an image as shown in Fig. 1. Each point is formed by modulating the RGB lasers simultaneously that leads to high optical efficiency, lower power consumption, wide color gamut and focus free operation.
