Money and resources are flowing into microLEDs, fueling a virtuous circle with faster development and improving prospects that are attracting further investments. The quality and quantity of microLED prototypes and first products are increasing rapidly, and key players are getting ready for volume manufacturing. The technology however has yet to enter high volume consumer applications. This presentation will discuss the status of the microLED industry including an overview of major investments, fab requirements, how the supply chain is shaping up and how key players are advancing toward volume manufacturing.
