    演講大綱

Compound semiconductor (SiC, GaN, InP, GaAs for instance) slowly substitutes Si in segments such as power, RF, and photonics driven by added component functionalities and higher power. For example, we expect SiC power device revenue to reach more than $7B in 2027, from $530M in 2022.
Indeed, the production capacity increase from leading manufacturers is at full swing. Hence, wafer fab equipment vendors need to rapidly adapt their deposition, etch, thinning, metrology and inspection equipment among others to serve higher volume production with added automation and wafer handling. Moreover, from the technology standpoint, equipment has to be adapted to the specificities of compound material such smaller wafer, roughness, hardness, brittleness, transparency, etch non-uniformities and others.
In this presentation, we aim to overview the compound material wafer fab equipment market from technology and market standpoint and provide insights for its future growth.
