  Hidehiro Yoshida received his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Nagoya and Tohoku Universities in 1995 and 1999, respectively. He joined Panasonic in 1995 and developed a power-assisted bicycle and an HD-DVD mastering system. From 2003 to 2004, he moved to California Institute of Technology to research the state of the art in nanotechnology. Then developed a precision inkjet head and stage for high-definition display panels. He is now expanding inkjet technology into various industrial fields.

  M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Nagoya and Tohoku Universities in 1995 and 1999, respectively
