The Spectra-UT Tunable Spectrally Calibrated Light Source uses a continuous spectrum light source and polychromator technology to provide unparalleled control over the generated spectral waveform. Spectra-UT uniformly corrected light sources accurately reproduce complex spectral characteristics, enabling high-resolution simulation of standard light sources as well as natural or synthetic light sources and radiation. The Spectra-UT is a uniform light source for flat-field applications and can be adapted to light guides and collimators for remote sample spectral illumination. By using sophisticated spectral matching algorithms, Spectra-UT is able to produce a near-perfect match to virtually any target spectral waveform in the visible region. It can render narrow band targets with 10 nm full width half wave width, VIS spectra, and complex shapes.
