HD309 Laser Scanning Projection (LSP) module equipped with a 2D MEMS scanning mirror and an independently developed image processing system. This LSP module could provide 720P(60fps) resolution display and focus-free projection within a compact size and reasonable cost. HD309 has various applications such as HUD, portable projectors, virtual or augmented reality and 3D sensing.
The MEMS scanning mirror scans RGB laser beams aligned into a single spot into a two-dimensional image area to form an image as shown in Fig. 1. Each pixel color is formed by modulating the RGB lasers simultaneously that leads to high optical efficiency, lower power consumption, wide color gamut and focus free operation.
