Taiwan Council of Shopping Centers
In the early 1990, Taiwan shopping center industry was still in its infancy. As a non-profit organization, Shopping Center Development Council (SCDC) was found in 1994, July 7th to promote the modernization of shopping environment by providing well-planed contemporary shopping centers. Since then, many shopping centers were opened in late 2000s and brought in a revolutionary retail format in Taiwan. In 2002, SCDC was officially renamed to be Taiwan Council of Shopping Centers (TCSC).
TCSC is a non-profit organization established for servicing its members to help promote interacting between and growth of industry peers、raise capability and capacity of shopping center development and management、integrate industry resources to create better efficiency and value、and build economic prosperity.
TCSC is committed on behalf of the industry as the bridge of communication with the government to aiding retailers, developers, property operations, architects, construction professionals
